We are a small, family owned, first generation farm located in a quiet corner of Boston Metrowest. With 15 acres of scenic wooded farmland and a wide variety of fun and affectionate animals who love to make new friends, we offer fresh eggs and family fun for all ages.
Meet Our Animals
Buddy Brook Farms raises goats and several types of birds: chickens, ducks, geese, quail, and turkeys. They’re all amazing creatures, often with strange personalities. Below are some of our favorite barnyard characters.
If you are interested in meeting our animals, join us at one of our all ages public events. We also support private events either at the farm or on-location. Book one today!
Pal
Pal is an 11 year old Australian Shepherd mix who spends his days protecting the various birds that reside on our farm.
Havarti
Havarti is a Nigerian dwarf wether and one of our most social goats. He was one of our first goats born here on our farm and loves to be snuggled by new human friends.
Duke
Duke is a Black Copper Maran rooster and is the leader of our flock of over 30 chickens. Although most roosters are not human friendly, Duke is an exception, he loves following folks around the barnyard and helping with farm tours
Moonlight
Moonlight is the only rabbit on our farm, but boy, does she do a great job of raising all of our baby birds. Moonlight can be seen snuggling chicks in our brooder during the spring to help them reach adulthood.
Pablo
Pablo is a Sebastopol gander and although his breed is protected, he does a fantastic job of protecting our ducks from small predators and hawks. We love Pablo, but we don’t recommend anyone try to snuggle him.
Ben
This handsome fella is Ben Aflac, our Muscovy mullard. Ben is our only bird capable of flight and loves to show off his skills when you least expect it.
